Quick answer: community guides report a requirement of nine Spider Lilies for Muzan's transformation quest. Start around Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, inspect the nearby water and trees, then check Hidden Mist Village's outer areas. Reported spots are not guaranteed spawns.

Check the quest before the route

The gameplay-linked Demon walkthrough reports a reputation requirement of −40 or lower to receive Muzan's Biwa Bell. Use the bell to reach his lair and speak to him again. The transformation quest includes both the nine flowers and delivering Dr. Higoshima; flowers alone do not complete the route.

The same reporting says lilies spawn at night. If you are following it and finding empty ground, check the current time in your server and your quest tracker before repeatedly running the circuit.

A compact inspection circuit

1. Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. Start near the central bridge and inspect the nearby tree and flower patches.
2. Waterfall side. Check the small piece of land with a bamboo tree opposite the large waterfall.
3. Gate toward Hidden Mist. Inspect the tree area beside the gate before travelling farther.
4. Outside Hidden Mist Village. Check the flower-covered ledge, then the area behind the pillar near Thunder King Zentaro.

When a spot is empty

A reported spawn is a place worth checking, not a reserved flower. Other players may already have collected one. Move through the circuit, watch the quest count, and avoid staying at a single empty point expecting a promised timer.

Several community guides recommend changing servers after checking the route. That may give another set of available pickups; it does not guarantee a flower or reset the world according to a verified schedule. Check your current quest progress before leaving.

Stop at the objective, then finish the quest

Use the quest counter as your source of truth. Once it shows nine collected flowers, continue with the other objective rather than farming extras for this step. Before the transformation, confirm that you want the Demon path; the Slayer trial has a different route.
